A positive signal for golf in northern Germany: WINSTONgolf’s WINSTONlinks Course has been named "Germany's Best Golf Course 2025" at this year’s World Golf Awards – once again taking first place nationwide. This marks the fifth time in six years that WINSTONgolf has secured the coveted title. Following victories in 2020, 2021, 2022 and
2024, it is once again clear that WINSTONgolf ranks among Europe’s leading golf destinations.

Inspired by classic Scottish coastal courses, the WINSTONlinks Course has long been a flagship on Germany’s golfing landscape with its natural dunes, sporting challenges and outstanding course maintenance. Winning the award again perfectly confirms the consistently high standards and dedication of the entire team. “This award means an incredible amount to us,” says Stefanie Merchel, Director of WINSTONgolf. “It fills us with great pride and gratitude – because it shows that our commitment, our passion and the daily dedication of our team are recognised and appreciated. For us, it is an incentive to continue doing everything we can to ensure that our facility remains such a special place for many people.” The World Golf Awards, part of the renowned World Travel Awards, are considered the most important international honour in golf tourism and annually recognise outstanding achievements in the industry. The aim of the programme is to highlight and reward excellence and innovation in global golf tourism. What makes it particularly meaningful is that the winners are not determined by a jury alone, but through an official vote in which both industry experts and golfers worldwide take part.
